Cape Town Adventure Film Festival: 23 April – 9 May 2020 Cancelled

CTAFF2020-cancelled

Sadly, it is with a heavy heart that we announce that the 3rd annual Cape Town Adventure Film Festival, presented by Wesgro, which was due to take place from the 23rd of April to the 9th of May 2020, has been cancelled until further notice.

Unfortunately, this decision was taken out of our hands when the government announced on Sunday 15th of March that all public gatherings greater than 100 people are to be prohibited, among other measures.

We fully support this decision and, as responsible organizers, need to ensure that we do what we can to assist in the efforts set out to contain the Covid-19 outbreak in South Africa.

For those of you who have already purchased tickets – thank you – we are consulting with our ticketing platform Quicket as to how we can fully/partially refund you. We will let you know in due course.

To all of the filmmakers, guest speakers, photographers, artists and supporting sponsors billed for this year’s program…we’re absolutely gutted that we’re not able to present the amazing line-up we’ve been working so hard the past few months to curate, but know that we will endeavor to continue developing CTAFF into South Africa’s leading adventure film platform as we navigate these tough times. Thank you all for your support!!
